Ms. Lynnette Reyes
I am excited to start the year as the Assistant Principal of Penn Elementary School. This will be my 20th year in Education and my 10th year here at Penn. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education with a Bilingual/ESL endorsement. In addition, I hold a Master’s degree in School Leadership and Administration from Concordia University. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be in the field of education, and I am fortunate to continue with a school and community that hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to serving Penn Elementary and the community in this new role.
At Penn, we believe in “achieving personal excellence, one child at a time”. As the Assistant Principal, I will work to support students both academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in the potential of each student, and realize we are not just preparing them for the next grade, but for the future. This preparation will include experiences that are challenging, relevant, and meet the needs of the individual student.
I am looking forward to supporting the students, staff, and community. I believe in open communication and a strong home to school connection. Please feel free to contact me with any celebrations or concerns you may have. It is exciting to think about all that we will achieve working together. Let’s make this year great!
